Wiastiningsih, S.S., M.A., PhD is an alumni and lecturer at the Japanese Literature Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. In 2011, she completed her Masters of Literature Program at the Faculty of Cultural Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada. From 2014 to 2022 she participated in the Research Student Program, Master Program and Doctoral Program at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan. Since 2009, she specializes on research fields surrounding translation of Japanese literature and modern Japanese literature. In the field of Japanese Indonesian translation, she has translated four books. Three of them are published by Ask Publisher, Tokyo, namely『介護の日本語 1 年生』 (2019), 『はじめての日本語能力試験 N5 単語 1000「タイ語。インドネシア語版」』 (2019), and 『はじめての日本語能力試験 N4 単語 1500「タイ語。インドネシア語版」』 (2019). In addition, she was a member of the translation team for the book 『6か国語わくわく絵ずかん学校のことばアジア編』(2022) published by Harupa Publisher, Tokyo.
