Indah S. Pratidina adalah pengajar tetap di Departemen Ilmu Komunikasi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik (FISIP), Universitas Indonesia. Ia memperoleh gelar doktornya dari Hitotsubashi University, Jepang. Minat risetnya berfokus pada komunikasi antarbudaya, budaya populer, dan penggunaan media sosial oleh publik dan komunitas. Ia adalah penulis “Motherhood Revisited: Pushing Boundaries in Indonesia’s Online Political Discourse” pada buku Digital Hate: The Global Conjuncture of Extreme Speech, Indiana University Press, 2021; dan “The Appetite for Revenge and Murder in Translation: Japanese Mystery Novels and their Social Media Savvy Indonesian Readers” pada Border Crossings: The Journal of Japanese Language Literature Studies, 2020. Pada 2023, bersama Rouli Esther Pasaribu, ia mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah berjudul “”R.A. Kartini” (1982) and “Kartini” (2017); Anguish and silent struggles in the narratives of Indonesian women’s empowerment role model,” Wacana, Journal of the Humanities of Indonesia.
