Jakarta – Thursday (01/02) the Center for Japanese Studies at Universitas Indonesia (CJS UI) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Japan in Jakarta to meet with H.E. Masaki Yasushi, the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Indonesia. On this precious occasion, Mr. Himawan Pratama, the Head of CJS UI, discussed the latest developments in Japanese Studies in Indonesia with the Ambassador, Mr. Hoshino Daisuke (Director of Information and Culture Section), and Ms. Kawakubo Yuriko (First Secretary (Education)). Both institutions shared their perspectives about the significance of enhancing the study of Japan in Indonesia. CJS UI hopes that the visit will lead to further collaboration with the Embassy to advance Japanese Studies.
