Lea Santiar

Short Bio

Lea Santiar is a lecturer in the Japanese Studies Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia, and a member of its Linguistics Department. Her research focuses on Japanese linguistics, discourse analysis, and language pedagogy, with particular interests in pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and foreign language learning. She has published widely on Japanese language teaching, including studies on listening behavior, discourse structures, and self-directed learning. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Indonesian Association for Japanese Language Education Studies (ASPBJI).
