On March 25, 2025, The Japan Foundation, represented by Mr. INAMI Kazumi (Director General of The Japan Foundation, Jakarta) and the Center for Japanese Studies Universitas Indonesia (CJS UI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the “Partnership to Co-create a Future with the Next Generation: WA Project 2.0.”
This collaboration between The Japan Foundation and CJS UI aims to foster the development of human resources capable of advancing Japanese studies in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. It also seeks to promote mutual understanding and facilitate international exchange between Japan and countries across Southeast Asia
