Music and Culture: Perspectives from Indonesia and Japan, hosted by the Center for Japanese Studies at Universitas Indonesia (CJS UI), was held on August 30th, 2024, at the Auditorium of CJS UI.
The event was opened by Himawan Pratama, Ph.D., Head of CJS UI, followed by public lectures from Prof. Philip Seaton (Tokyo University of Foreign Studies) and Ir. Purwa Tjaraka (Purwa Caraka Music Studio).
After the presentations, the event continued with an interactive session between the speakers and participants.
